The National Treasury established under Section 11 of the Public Finance Management Act, 2012, is responsible for public procurement and asset disposal policy formulation. To this end, The National Treasury is in the process of reviewing the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act,2015 and would like to collect comments/proposals on areas to be amended from stakeholders and the general public in line with Article 10 of the Constitution of Kenya,2010. The proposed amendments are geared towards enhancing fair, equitable, transparent, competitive, and cost effective. Greater focus on achieving value for money while ensuring compliance to processes.
Individuals/Organisations that wish to provide comments/proposals on the amendments to the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 are invited to register and submit comments through the system.
